I was born in Dallas Texas, but grew up in Huntsville. I went to Grissom High School; and, after graduation, I attended and graduated from the University of Montevallo. My husband enlisted in the Army, so we lived in North Carolina (Fort Bragg) for 5 years. We then moved back to Huntsville to be close to friends and family, and we have a one-year-old daughter that is currently the center of our world.
I have a total of eight years experience teaching visual arts, in both primary and secondary schools, with the last three years at Decatur Middle School. I cannot wait to to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for visual arts with my students at DHS!
