Originally from Booneville, MS, where I graduated from New Site High School. I graduated from Mississippi State University three times with a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in Community Counseling, and an Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling. This is my 27th year working in education and my 19th year working as a school counselor. I am also a National Certified School Counselor.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Keith. We have two sons: Warren, an agriculture education teacher in Mississippi, and Tate, a senior history major at Mississippi State. Our daughter-in-law, Bailey, is expecting our first grandchild, Mitchell Kate, in August.

In our spare time, we love to travel, watch college sports, spend time outdoors, and try new restaurants. My favorite leisure activities are reading, napping, and hanging out with my precious Henry, a Miniature Aussie.

My family and I love living in Decatur, and I'm looking forward to a fabulous and productive school year at DHS!
