On National Signing Day, why not take a look at the future of Decatur High School football? Coach Adcock says that he is excited about the new faces he sees, as he hands out the red and black jerseys to the young and talented class that is heading into the DHS football program. Speed, size, ability, and attitude are components of what makes a good player. Coach Adcock and his staff are looking for those young athletes who demonstrate the qualities of leadership on the field and in the classroom.
As the future of DHS football lined up for their picture, it might have been wet and dark outside, but the faces of the young men in the room were all smiles, as they put on their jerseys for the first time. There will be a ton of work ahead for the future players, but Coach Adcock and his staff will have them prepared physically and mentally.
