Hi! My name is Jennifer Gidley, and I am from Lineville, AL. I earned a bachelor's degree in both secondary education and mathematics from Judson College, while playing college volleyball, softball, and basketball. I earned my master's degree at Jacksonville State University in Secondary Education - Mathematics and my Educational Specialist Degree in Teacher Leader from the University of West Alabama. For most of the last 21 years, I have taught math in the Clay County School System,  including teaching Dual Enrollment Pre-calculus and Basic Statistics through Jacksonville State University for the last 7 years.

My husband is also a teacher and he will be teaching 7th grade English at Priceville Junior High. Our son was accepted into the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering in Huntsville, and we are moving to the Decatur/Huntsville area so that he will have the opportunity to attend school there as a freshman.

In our free time, we love to travel, especially to the beach. I love to read and watch college sports, in particular,  the Auburn Tigers - War Eagle! I am excited to begin the new school year and about our move to the Decatur area!
