January 23-29 is a special week here at Decatur High School. During National School Choice Week, students were invited to write about why DHS was their favorite school. Hundreds and hundreds of students wrote about all the things that make this high school a special place. The comments ranged from a top notch curriculum to top of the line teachers and administrators to the beauty of the school itself. Decatur High School prides itself in remaining one of the best schools in the area for students to attend, never settling for average, but always reaching for what is best for our students and staff and community. With decades behind us, DHS is excited for the thousands and thousands of students in the future.
